Natalia Petrova

CEO

Natalia Petrova is the company’s Executive Director and portfolio manager. She has over 15 years‘ experience in asset management in the capital markets, while previously she was a member of the Management Board responsible for Portfolio Management of Raiffeisen Asset Management. She is licensed by the Financial Supervision Commission to provide investment consulting and brokerage and holds a certificate for trading with securities from the Ministry of Finance.

Natalia Petrova is Chairman of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Association of Asset Management Companies (BAAMC). Natalia Petrova is Procurator of Investment Intermediary „ABC Finance“.

Natalia Petrova has over 10 years’ experience as a Fund Markets and Corporate Finances lecturer at the University of National and World Economy where she is currently a PhD student at the Finance Department. In 2008, she began teaching Portfolio Management at the University of Insurance and Finance (VUZF). She speaks English and Spanish.

Dimitar Zhilev

Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors

Dimitar Zhilev is Vice-Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors since 2012. He has over ten years’ experience in different segments of financial services: Capital Markets, Banks, Insurance, Health Insurance, Pension Insurance, etc.

He is strictly profiled in investment, company structuring and management, business negotiation, securitization of debt and debt financing. His main competencies are related to the activities of public companies, IPOs, mutual and pension funds, financial analysis, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions. Zhilev has experience as a Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Web Finance Holding. Previously, he has 4 years of professional experience at the Financial Supervision Commission of the Republic of Bulgaria. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy. He speaks English.

Adelina Dimitrova

Head of Sales Department, Head of Compliance

Adelina Dimitrova has over 20 years of experience in banking and capital markets. Prior to taking the current position, she worked for Unicredit Bulbank, Societe Generale and Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria. Adelina has excellent communication skills, extensive experience in sales of financial products and innovations, organization of branch network trainings, etc.

Adelina holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia.

Nikolay Mehandzhiyski

Head of Legal Department

Nikolay Mehandzhiyski has over 10 years’ experience in capital markets and investment products legal advisory. He has consulted a number of deals on initial and secondary public offering, credit transactions, investment deals and projects. He has held various positions in leasing companies, banks and management companies. He holds a Master’s degree in Law from the St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia as well as a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy. He speaks English.

Denitsa Kukusheva

Operations Manager

Denitsa Kukusheva has over 20 years’ experience in the Bulgarian capital market, holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the VUZF. She specialized in a Master’s degree at the University of National and World Economy – Forex Trading Theory and Practice. Denitsa joined the team of Concord Asset Management in 2013. She speaks English and Turkish.

Irena Georgieva

Chief Accountant, Investors Relationship Director

Irena Georgieva is the chief accountant of the company, working there since February 2023. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Control from the South-West University „Neofit Rilski“, Blagoevgrad. She has extensive experience in the accounting of various companies as well as in the financial sphere, having worked in a large accounting house. She speaks English and Italian.

Alexander Peev

Product Manager

Alexander Peev has a Master’s degree in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy. He passed the first level of CFA. His professional career began in 2007 as an analyst in leading investment intermediaries such as BenchMark Finance AD, Balkan Consulting Company AD and others. He has worked as a portfolio manager in various management companies, an analyst in one of the largest asset companies with a special investment purpose, as well as in a pension fund.

Dimitar Burnev

Legal counsel

Dimitar Burnev has over 17 years of diverse experience in civil law as a legal counsel in commercial companies, banks, in an international consulting company and in the non-profit sector. His expertise in the field of capital markets is acquired while working for a bank and for a public company. Master of Laws from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. He speaks English and German. He joined the company in June 2022.

Teodor Paunov

Financial Analyst

Teodor Paunov is a financial analyst at “Concord Asset Management” AD. He has previous experience on the same position at “FCG Sofia” EOOD, where he acquired specific skills in the field of financial analysis, investments and capital markets. He participated in the preparation of a special investment plan based on a thorough financial analysis. He was also part of the management of a limited liability company. He studied “International Business Administration” for one year at Richmond University – London. He graduated Marketing at NBU – Sofia, bachelor’s degree. Teodor speaks English and French languages. He joined the team of “Concord Asset Management” AD in November 2022.

Rosen Kozhuharov

Financial Analyst

Rosen Kozhuharov is a financial analyst at Concord Asset Management AD. He has previous experience at the Bulgarian Stock Exchange – Sofia. He graduated in Business Economics at the UNWE. He has gained a strong understanding of financial analysis through courses and internships. He has honed his financial modeling and data analysis skills. He joined the Concord Asset Management plc team in November 2022.

Petko Rizov

Product Manager

Petko Rizov is a Product Manager at Concord Asset Management, Securities Broker at “ABC Finance” AD and Financial Analyst at POK “Saglasie”. He has accumulated experience in the field of capital markets, in the preparation of financial evaluations of projects and different types of assets. Rizov is a licensed Broker by the Financial Supervision Comission. He holds a bachelor’s degree in “Business Management” from “Loughborough University”.

Nikolay Paliyski

Product Manager

Nikolay Paliyski is a product manager at Concord Asset Management AD. He graduated in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, where he studied the structure of capital markets. He refined his skills through active participation in projects and clubs, gaining valuable experience in financial analysis. Nikolay speaks English. He joined the team at Concord Asset Management AD in November 2023.

Dimana Avramova-Hristova

Operations Manager

Dimana Avramova-Hristova holds the position of Expert Bank, financial payment institution at Concord Asset Management AD. She has over 13 years of experience in the field of capital markets. She graduated with a master’s degree in “International Business and Management” in SA “D. A. Tsenov” Svishtov. She speaks English.
